It gets the job done. I'm a makeup artist/hair stylist and this Iron never lets me down. This is a review for the 1 1/2 inch barrel, so you aren't going to get shirley temple curls or spiral curls at all, this Iron is more for shape, volume and body! I'm Glad I purchased this! ### ⭐ Product Not As Pictured *by S***Y on March 17, 2013* I ordered the 1.5 inch curling iron that was pictured, with the traditional handle. I was sent a totally different product. I was sent the version with the "Marcel" handle, which I did not want. And, even worse, the handle on the product I was sent was incredibly sticky and disgusting. Amazon handled the return and credited me promptly, but the representative seemed clueless as to why I was sent a totally different product than what I had ordered and what it pictured as this product on the web site. Amazon needs to correct this issue. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Sticky? Excuse my angry caps >.< *by E*** on June 13, 2013* Item as described, but may complaint with this item is the handle is COVERED in adhesive! I can understand a rubberized grip, but this is sticky adhesive over the ENTIRE handle!!! I bought this curler because my stylist has the same one except her's has a marcel clamp, and it did WONDERS with my hair! My hair hates to curl, but this iron rocked it! I just don't understand why the handle is covered in what is like old band aid sticky residue! I'm cleaning it off with googone or something, cause it just grosses me out to touch it! I bought from American Fragrance & Cosmetic Company. Spoke to my stylist friend and she says the handle isn't suppose to be like this.Overall though, iron itself is amazing!!! You will love it! I have hair that is near impossible to curl, but this iron is fantastic as I stated above!I would however not recommend buying from these people! Not only did I have a sticky iron, I also had a problem with them putting a shipping label directly onto my iron's box so EVERYONE knew what was being shipped, then UPS left it flat on my porch because they didn't require a sig.
