Doesn't work on my Champion inverter generator
I watched a YouTube video about the Champion Dual Fuel 3400 Watt Inverter Generator. The guy in the video installed one of these. I bought one through the link on his site, and mounted it to the same place, on top of the the generator. Nothing. Either on high or low sensitivity. So, I got a putty knife and pried it off, and I tried moving it to the handle, figuring that it shakes more at that location. In fact, I can visibly see the handle vibrating when the generator is running. It still doesn't register anything at all. What a disappointment!

Even on the sensitive setting it doesn't seem to be record hours.
I have mine of a Harbor Freight generator. You would think a generator would vibrate enough, but so far it doesn't register anything. I'll update it if something changes. It has the right features, and it is understandable and sets up right, but even on the sensitive setting it doesn't seem to be recording hours.Update11/25/19: I simply haven't pried it off, and was looking for another. It has been years and plenty of hours and it still reads zero hours. Maybe they are a little cheaper than the rest because they have one little flaw, they don't record hours.

Didn’t Work
Simply did not work for me. I couldn’t find a place on my champion generator where this meter stayed on and registered vibration. I went through the high and low sensitivity. I put it directly on the motor and still didn’t work. I did find an outlaw wireless meter that did work for me. I have a feeling many of these wireless hour meters have not been perfected yet.

Accurate and Durable
I've been running one of these PSP hour meters on my freestyle jet ski since May 2018. This by far is the most accurate vibration hour meter I have tried. It's much better than the "GET" model and way easier to install than the traditional wired versions. You just stick this one down and you're done! Nice product and price!September 2019 Update, still going strong. The only thing I can say that I don't like is the fact that you cannot reset the total hours. I've moved a few of these from one motor to the other and would like to be able to start from zero again.

Peeled the plastic covering the tape on the digital Vibration ...
Peeled the plastic covering the tape on the digital Vibration hour meter and stuck it on the top of my Chinese 4500 psi compressor. The unit started working when the compressor was turned on. Seems to be accurate at adding up the minutes the compressor is used so I will know when to do maintenance.

Kinda finicky but does a good job when mounted properly
Works well it seems to me that it is a bit picky had to mount it in a location that is for me a bit inconvenient I have to get on my hands and knees to read it...it's mounted on a Champion inverter generator (Champion 100302) it is reliable when mounted right and I personally think that this meter is better than a inductive type model ( I just don't like the flimsy wire that come with those units) all in all I am happy with this unit

Not working on Yamaha inverter generator?
Tried this on my 2017 Yamaha EF2000is inverter generator. After 2.5 hrs only showed 0.1 hrs of use. Strapped to handle. First hour showed 0.0 hrs used. Removed 3M foam backed adhesive strip and re strapped to handle, next hour and a half only showed 0.1 hr used. This only showed up when removing and re installing. Tried hi and low sensitivity and even ECO mode for 1/2 an hour, still shows 0.1 hr used? I have a second one bought as a gift, should I try it to see if the first is defective? Any help would be appreciated!!!!

and when I would start my bike I saw it flash so I figured I was good to go
This just DOES NOT WORK. I have a YZ250. Mounted this on the frame with 3M tape, and when I would start my bike I saw it flash so I figured I was good to go.Fast forward to a few weeks time, just was in an all weekend event probably 9 hours of riding, plus previous weeks of quick rides and the meter read 2.2 hours.Just get the one with the wire on the spark coil. Super easy and those work.
