He normally wears a large, so we got him a extra large. It is a little loose on him but still looks fine. The large would have fit, but he wouldn't have been to wear it long. It didn't shrink in the wash (cold) and my nephew loves it.It is a little thinner than I expected but my nephew says it is comfortable and warm. It is still thin enough to wear year 'round and not burn slap up. I would give it a 5-star but way too early in the game to do that.
