With a Black Stallion® FRB9-30C/BS Royal Blue FR Cotton & Cowhide Hybrid Welding Jacket, you get the best of both worlds; rugged leather sleeves shield arms from sparks and spatter, while breathable cotton protects the torso. 9 oz. flame-resistant cotton is used to make up the body, while Split cowhide sleeves offer extra protection. A standup welder's collar keep sparks away from your neck while the FRB9-30C/BS also features dual scribe pockets and snap front and wrists.

Review: Great welding jacket. Good size, and a lot of protection while welding. - This welding jacket has worked very well for me. I am only just starting to learn how to weld, so I do not have a lot of experience with other types of welding jackets, but this does everything I need. I like that the leather sleeves provide very good protection against weld splatter and accidental brushes against hot parts. They are however very warm (kind of the nature of welding though). The fabric chest and body portion does help to cool the overall jacket down. It is fall time right now, but I might have to buy an additional jacket for summer time, which wouldn't be nearly as protective, but a little cooler. They are fairly true to size, if not a little big. However I normally wear a large, and the only option was XL. I figured the extra space wouldn't hurt for the ability to wear layers underneath during the winter time, and it certainly will allow for that. I am 6'4" tall, and the majority of my height comes from my torso. I was very happy to find out that the length is very reasonable. It will reach well below my belt level, which is very rare for me. All sewn seams are very well done, and look like I will not have to worry about any of them falling apart. The only change I would look for next time would be the addition of some "hand pockets" for the storage of pliers or other small hand tools. It does have a pencil pocket on each sleeve, which can be very handy, but the ability to have a couple small tools would be ideal (but not a requirement). I would highly recommend this jacket, especially for the big and tall welder.

A: I am 5 foot 9 inches medium build. Fits well for welding. Roomy enough for a coworker who is broad shouldered. No holes yet! I like its quality & design :)
