I wanted short socks for my 2 year old for summer, but when I received these they were VERY thick. They were so thick, in fact, that I couldn't even fit his feet inside of shoes that were already too big. Another weird thing was that the inside of the sock was on the outside. The fuzzy part had the non skid printed on it and the smooth side was on the inside. I don't know if they are all like that or mine were a fluke but due to the thickness and being inside out, I returned. I will say they were the perfect height for Vans though! The grippers on the bottom are pretty thick which SHOULD last my little runner sometime. If your tot is warm blooded like mine these socks are not extra fuzzy or too thick, but they are the perfect thickness to keep them feeties warm enough without shoes.
