There appears to be no adhesives that work well on polyethelene, and none of the RV repair shops know how to weld plastic. The repair would take five hours of labor plus the cost of a new tank. I decided to do some research and came across the uniseal. I ended up drilling a 3 inch hole using a hole saw. I used a piece of plastic as a guide to drill in the pilot hole to ensure I could drill the hole without issues. I installed the Uniseal, followed by a 2" x 1/2" PVC bushing (the bushing is hard to find at Menards or Home Depot without ordering online, but got lucky finding one in stock at Ace Hardware). I then installed the Camco 22243 Drain Valve (not pictured here). I ended up cutting off the 3/8" thread on the drain valve. I filled up the tank completely and so far no leaking. We are going on a trip in a couple weeks, so hopefully it will stay in place while driving. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars Great product and inexpensive *by M***. on Reviewed in the United States on February 25, 2017* Very satisfied. I installed these on an olive barrel as a flow filter for an aquaponics system and they work amazing. I did have to use a bit of silicone, but that was because of the barrel being oddly shaped in the area I installed them. A year later and they're still holding up with no leaks. I used a drop or two of dish detergent mixed with water to puch my PVC through. Worked like a charm.
