There is no mention of 9CR Japanese stainless alloy in the packaging. I have not used the shears to cut hair yet, but I made this purchase on the belief that the shears were made of Japanese stainless alloy. Hair professionals recommend buying shears made of Japanese stainless steel.The seller should remove mention of “Japanese Stainless Steel” from listing and price properly. The shears are made in China. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Not a hairdresser *by H***B on Reviewed in the United States on April 25, 2020* If you need shears to have in case there is a pandemic and cannot get to your hairdresser, these are far better than kitchen shears or office supplies. I am not a hairdresser, therefore I do not know what good shears are. I would say be careful if you do not know what you are doing. They are sharp and it would be easy to cut yourself. Cutting bangs and dead ends so far is perfect. The scissors cut, but the most annoying part was that my hair kept getting caught in the middle of the scissor where the blades meet. The scissors kept tugging at my hair and eventually I found a couple of strands that were being pulled from the root. For the amount that I paid for these scissors, I expected so much more. I was better off cutting my hair with regular scissors than spending my money on this.
