I needed a fine point, but I wasn't sure the gel ink would work - but it did! The blue of this gel ink is just like the color of a ball point - bold and clearly blue. There was no skipping or ink globs on the paper. The 0.7mm point doesn't leave ink globs on the paper like some gel pens do.
