I have my small air compressor set at 70psi and haven't had any issues removing nails from pallets. It really is just a matter of slipping the barrel of the gun over the nail and pressing the trigger. Note that I have only used this TODAY so I'm not able to give a long term review. Comparing traditional hammer and/or pry bar to this gun, the gun takes the cake. I used a trash can to "shoot" my nails into with a cloth on the bottom so to limit the bounce of the nails when being ejected. It shoots the nails out of the other side (I put the board over a large garbage can.) On thinker boards or tougher nails, it might not shoot out, but it will be almost completely out the other side so you can get it with pliers or a claw hammer.
