Unfortunately, there doesn't seem to be anything available right now, especially if you're looking for a tripod holder for the 12" iPad Pro. Here are my main complaints:1. The thread for the tripod screw is flimsy. I tried to attach this thing to a Manfrotto quick change plate. Since the iPad is heavy and this clamp needs to be installed diagonally, there was simply no way to attach it securely. It kept coming loose whenever I tried to move it into a useable position. I gave up before sending my 1000$ crashing to the floor.2. You have to get a separate ball joint to install this thing at a 90 degree angle. No telling how much that would exacerbate the above problem. I'm not willing to spend extra money to try and salvage this mistake.3. The edges are sharp. Hold this thing in your hand and shake it. It rattles and simply does not inspire confidence. You can tell it's an inferior product, just by looking at it. That would be annoying if it was 12$. At this price, it's unacceptable. The seller is trying to mitigate the problem by posting overly confident responses to people's questions. Believe the duped consumers and their reviews. I'm glad I have this opportunity to nudge the rating down some more, because it's still too high at this point.4. You have to rig something to push the iPad forward so the corner holders start to take effect. I tried putting a kitchen sponge behind the device. Professional!!!5. The plastic screws that are important to fix the position of the two v-shaped holder pieces don't hold on tightly enough. There is still play, even after tightening them uncomfortably.In conclusion: keep in mind how much you paid for your tablet. Do you really want to endanger it with a poorly designed clamp? I don't, and I won't. I'm not surprised that once again you get what you paid for. Here's hoping a better designed product will come along soon, even if it costs twice as much as this wobbly frustration. ### ⭐⭐⭐ 3.0 out of 5 stars Workable, But a serious weighting/balance issue for 12 inch iPad *by M***T on Reviewed in the United States on January 12, 2017* I have used this product for some time now. For the most part, it works. However, I got it for my 12inch iPad and discovered a balance issue. This was originally designed for smaller devices. For the larger model ipad (12inch), they send an extender arm. This was not a problem I expected. I found out day 1 when I turned to pick up a script, while recording. I turned back and my subject was nearly out of frame. My ipad was moving from a horizontal shot, to vertical. It's own weight pulling it down. Enter the bungee cord, which has been part of my kit, ever since! This was never designed for the 12inch. They made it clear it was an extender arm, but I was still surprised by how badly it handles the weight. There was no indication this might be an issue to prepare for. Maybe, when sending extender arm for larger pads, they could send a 'glue on weight', to add to the shorter side, to counter the weighting/balance problem! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars Great customer service for solution to portrait use! *by J***T on Reviewed in the United States on November 13, 2015* Latest update: though the initial design of the iShot did not allow for portrait use with the iPad pro, the new longer arm they sent does! Any other way you try to make it work the iPad pro is not secure. If you are buying this for your iPad pro do not! I'm sure it is great for other smaller tablets but definitely not for the iPad pro, which is the only reason I purchased this.Update:I was just contacted by constomer service and they acknowledged that they initially uploaded incorrect images for instillation. Since I only you the tripod mount when using ForScore for music reading it is imperative for it to be in a portrait position not landscape. iShot is aware of this and is coming out with a new version to accommodate this need for musicians and others who need the iPad pro to be in a portrait position securely.
