Even when you're using them, they feel flimsy, thin, and very fragile. But I've never had one break or tear, even when it was several days until the trash was picked up. I think they're a little smaller than the other ones, but my dog is only 50 pounds so that's not a problem. (If you have a 90-pound dog, or only walk your dog once a day, you might have a size issue. If you know what I'm saying, and I think you do. They have a nice, subtle scent that doesn't trigger your gag reflex like some dog waste bags do. We do put these in our compost holes which we leave sit for at least a few years so I can not yet attest to how well they break down. I do not want to contribute more plastic waste to the earth and Arm and Hammer is the cheapest brand I can find for these types of bags, which is important when you walk three large dogs! I have been buying these for years. Something that has been improved on these bags is their ability to tear. The first few I ordered were a little difficult to tear off of the roll, which was only a problem in cold weather when wearing gloves. I have not had this problem in the last several packages I have purchased. They do not rip when you go to pick up the waste, they do not dissolve if water gets on them and they do not have an overpowering scent.
