I wasn’t even expecting all that, but I was blown away at how much it has helped with my acne scars. That wasn’t my intention with purchasing it, so I’m truly amazed. Konjac sponges were too soft for me to feel like it was making a difference, but face wash with exfoliants and the Clarisonic is too much for my sensitive skin to use daily. This is right in the middle, the perfect amount of exfoliation for daily use without feeling like you’re scrubbing your skin off. Again, I have sensitive-acne prone skin so this was a big deal. It is a BIG sponge, I’d recommend cutting them in half to get twice for your money. Also beware if you have a nose piercing, I was going to town on my face and the sponge did get caught on my nose ring and ripped it out. It’s fine but PAINFUL! Now, some reviews say they are like sandpaper, etc., and it's true, they are not soft. But sandpaper, no. I do not use them for scrubbing, I use them for rinsing and wiping away face soap or masks. They are great as a light exfoliate when wiping away product! Of course they can be used to wash as well, but if you have sensitive skin, start softly.
