Y es una verdadera lástima ya que la ocasión de conocer mejor su trabajo es inmejorable con este doble programa: por un lado el documental de 52 minutos de duración de Claudia Collao que repasa la vida y el trabajo de Alice y por otro lado un pequeña selección de 8 filmes de entre 1907 (The Glu Pot) hasta 1913, fecha en la que ya trabajaba con su esposo en Estados Unidos y que muestran un panorama narrativo interesante y unas ideas de dirección bastante sólidas. 110 minutos de programa total.Lo malo es que el documental de Collao no lleva subtítulos en ningún idioma, algo que lo limita a los que comprendan bien el francés y que el resto de las películas de Guy no están restauradas y tienen defectos de conservación del celuloide original así como problemas de "ghosting" típicos de conversión de video NTSC a PAL hecho con poco cuidado. La productora Doriane Films, responsable de la edición así lo advierte en las notas de la contraportada pero es igualmente escandaloso. (ver imagenes más arriba)Una estrella menos por la falta de subtitulados y otra por el mal estado del material de Alice Guy.
