Captain America: My Mighty Marvel First Book

My toddlers love this Captain America book. I will get more in this series.

My 2 year-old grandson is a big "Bactonmeria" fan! Right up there with Thor! These books are durable, a good size for small hands and brilliantly illustrated! Fold out pages add an element of surprise! Got one for the 2 year old amd it was so popular with his 5 year-old brother that they both decided to collect the series! Best board book for little boys ot superfan little girls, EVER!!I can't recommend these enough!

These are a great way to introduce the Marvel universe, using artwork from the greats. Jack “King” Kirby in this vol., and we also have the John Romita, Sr. Spider-Man and the Sal Buscema Hulk. A great series of books!

I am a major Captain America and Jack Kirby fan. When I saw the cover of this and it being up for pre-order I jumped on it and Spider-Man for my 1 year old son. I was astounded that it was the typical, modern cheap art Marvel sometimes uses in their kids books and products but original Jack Kirby art. Inside you'll see Steve Rogers, Bucky, Red Skull, the classic Avengers, etc. At the back of the book there is even a small tribute to Jack Kirby.The art on the book looks like it won't be peeling easily. The colors really pop too which helps with the little ones. So far he's loved flipping through it. Excelsior!

This book is pretty much a love letter to Jack Kirby as it is Captain America. I love it!

My son enjoys this book every time we read it. The illustrations are vibrant and the book is durable.

The book itself is great - well written, visually appealing, and great for young kids. But the book arrived damaged, so we ordered a replacement, and that came damaged too. They both had dings/scratches on them, like they hadn't really been taken care of when packaged up. If you're not bothered by this then it's a great little book, but if it's a gift or something it may be best to check your copy first hand in a book store.

Ich habe wohl nicht richtig gelesen: denn ich hatte ein Comic erwartet und bekam statt dessen eine Kinderbuch. Entweder schicke ich es zurück oder warte bis mein Sohn (19Jahre) = Marvel-Fan eigene Kinder hat.Die Aufmachung ist für ein Kinderbuch super, zwar alles in englisch, aber es kommt ja auch aus GB.
