Great price. Amazing story. I've also read the rest of the series. Like losing a friend when finished! TV series not half as good as books.

I enjoyed this story in thd 1970's and am enjoying re-reading the stories. I have watched both tv series and like to read thd books because as typical BBC never finish a series when there are a number of books so you have to get the whole series of books to find out how all the characters get on.

This is a nice set, arrived in perfect condition.

I read the Poldark novels for the first time 40 years ago and loved them. I would highly recommend them especially to viewers of the recent revived BBC Series starring Aidan Turner as Ross and Eleanor Tomlinson as Demelza

My mother had found one of these books in a charity shop and enjoyed it so much she asked if there were more in the series. This was ordered after 5pm one evening, and came the next day. At less than £2 a book it was nearly as cheap as the charity shop find. Shes over the moon.

The Poldark series is one of the finest collection of stories about an extended family, their friends and enemies, their tragedies, triumphs and courageous activities you could ever want to read. The stories are enthralling, covering several years in the lives of the inhabitants of a Cornish north coast district. The attention to detail of the life of the people of the time, particularly the actual historic events of the time are well researched and are woven with great skill into the narrative. Over the years I have read all the books several times and never tire of losing myself in the Cornwall, and beyond, of a bygone age.
