A: They don’t slide unless you actually move them. I like that fact as you can adjust them to fit your clothing!

**Q: Is there padding on the clips to reduce damage to delicate fabrics? Or is it bare metal?**
A: No padding on clips bare metal.  Really nice hangers.  Does not damage fabrics.

**Q: how many pairs can they hold?**
A: Each hanger is made to hold one item of clothing. I typically use these for pants or skirts.  If the clothing items are made out of a thin fabric the hanger can probably hold two items.

**Q: How long is the J Hook?**
A: 3.25 inches from the top of hanger to the top of the hook.
