Last time I used one was by Shiseido, and it was very expensive. Most moisturizers clog my pores and make me break out within 2-3 uses. I have been using this for about 10 days now without issue. It smells wonderful, has a nice gel consistency, and moisturizes just enough that my skin isn't getting dry in the freezing temperatures we are having now. Smells like a blooming rose and feels cooling to the skin. Very sheer, weightless, not oily at all. I am so sensitive that the only moisturizer I have been able to use for many years now is one that I order from FRANCE. It is a tad too heavy in the summer months. It costs me like $60 including shipping for a 1.7oz jar. This is a 2.7 oz jar, and it's about half the price. I have a sensitive nose and this is non irritating (for me at least). I love the rose scent it smells natural. This product is light weight. it covers well and goes on smoothly and is refreshing. I can be heavy handed and I notice that I wake up feeling the product still on my face. That lets me know this is moisturizing and I am able to use less (which is great). I do believe you are getting the most bang for your buck as far as this product is considered.
