OPTICAL 20/20 Advanced Formula Eye Drops, Redness Irritation Dryness Reliever, 0.5 fl. oz.

I do lots of cycling and unless I am using full eye protection goggles chances are that, and especially in spring, pollen or these small bugs that gather in the afternoon and fly in a bundle, will hit my eyes. Not a good experience when something hits your eye at more than 10 miles per hour. The stinging and burning can easily ruin the day. I have tried some over the counter eye drops with limited results but after researching, I found that only two eye decongestants are effective, one of them is Tetrahydrozoline. Tetrahydrozoline is a decongestant used to relieve redness in the eyes caused by minor eye irritations (e.g., smog, swimming, dust, or smoke). It works by temporarily narrowing the blood vessels in the eye. Here my experience so far.USAGE: I do not use it every day, as with every decongestant, it is advisable to use it only when needed. In my case is about one a week in average.APPLICATION: It feels pleasant, no irritation or burning while applying the drops like Visine. I would assume that is due to 3 lubricants this product contains.EFFECTIVENESS: I keep my eyes closed for about a minute before resuming my activities. The chance is visible and can be felt easily. The redness of the eye will reduce significantly or is eliminated.COST: In my opinion, $3.14 per bottle is a great deal, at least compared to the regular Systane Ultra eye lubricant that I purchase from Walmart or the $6-$11 Visine you can get here at Amazon or at CVS.SIDE EFFECTS: I pay close attention to any potential side effects after using any eye product. Some can change the pressure of the eye and therefore cause blurred vision. I have not noticed any.All facts consider, this is a great product, very happy I found it.

Used often enuf keeps my eyes from being dry/

I bought this eye drop to help with my red eyes but after multiple use I didn't notice any change to the redness.Not going to buy again.

I've suffered from red irritated eyes for years, largely due to sleep issues and eye strain from monitors.. I've used "cooling" drops which help but not more than 10-15 minutes and they actually make it worse over time.. they also tend to irritate the skin causing the skin around the eye to get red and itchy due to the menthol effect.I've used lubricating drops but they always blur my vision instantly because they tend to be thick.This does both the anti-redness and lubrication without the blurry vision and without the irritation from that "minty" feel .. I've only been using them a couple of days but we'll see, I wish they weren't just an "addon" item but I suppose that's fine..

I absolutely love these drops! These drops work well for the redness in my eyes due to irritants or tiredness. I have tried other name brand products out there but let me tell you, nothing has worked better than these drops.

Work great for my eyes when I need eye drops. I live in a dry, hot area and we use ceiling fans constantly that really dry out my eyes. Good purchase, especially for the price.

Non-binding, redness out....great feeling solution.

I got this mainly for the bottle for which I have another use. Nonetheless, I find it useful in its own right.
