Anyways just bought this brush and it is much more sturdy and solid.. plus the brush action works both ways.. eg brush away from you on one side and the other side brush towards you. I had to draw arrows on either side of the handle with a marker in the direction to brush to make it easy.. with a house of 5 indoor cats (4 being long haired) this is a Good product so far so good:) ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4.0 out of 5 stars Value *by S***L on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 14 July 2020* I have a British Blue Shorthair Cat who is shedding a lot at the moment so needs a lot of brushing which as most pet owners will know, transfers the hairs to you. I have been using a sticky roller or sellotape to remove these hairs and decided i would give this a try. First of all you do need to brush in one direction only or else all the hairs that came off will be transferred back on. Once you get the hang of this then all is good. Slot it back in the holder and pull it in and out a few times and this cleans the hairs off. The bottom of the holder then pulls off making it easy to empty.
