**Q: Does it flake in dark hair**
A: It did not flake on my dark brown-violet hair however the hold was so intense I felt like I couldn't breathe. The awful, dreaded, helmet head. It was awful

A: I don't have particularly fine hair, but I *do* use this product specifically for lifting at the roots and it's the best I've found. Results typically last all day.

A: I don't think so. I have long thick hair so never tried...but that doesn't mean it won't work.

**Q: does this contain parabens? does this give your hair a matte or shine look?**
A: referenced by the label on the can, it contains no paraben.  it does not give your hair a shine look, nor a matte look.  it is a hair spray that holds your hair in place.
