Mixes as well as any other mixer that I have used in the past. As with any meat processing device clean up is intense and requires a bit of work with a stiff brush to clean out any crevices. No better or worse that cleaning my grinder or stuffer. Welding of the mixing paddles could be better, considering the use I see no issues, if the welds break I will reweld if the issue arises. Overall build quality is not bad, heavy stainless steel body with a nice stainless steel lid.
