All the straps are elastic with Velcro attachments, which means everything sort of stretches, but not really at the same level since the strap across the back is about 1.5" elastic, and all the other straps are about 3/4". I found the strap across the back to be a little too short, so I attached one of the front straps up there to add a little more length. The straps under the "armpits" are also a little short, which makes the attachment a little awkward and they don't always stay put. That said, I am basically using this to hold a heated gel pack on his shoulder for a while prior to doing his walking exercise, so, having the "bracing" mechanism really tight isn't necessary. These issues could be a factor of his body type, as I'm sure this fits each dog differently, so I think you just have to adjust to what works with your dog. ### ⭐⭐⭐ Pads fit but the straps dont! *by J***A on Reviewed in the United States on April 17, 2020* I really love the concept. However, the straps dont fit my pup, but the pads are perfect. It came with 2 skinny extension strips but I had to use it for the chest & back peices. And ths arms strings were very uncomfortable. he cant move in it. When I took the Arm pieces off he was happy. I am going to see then together under the tummy to make sure it stay stable and doesnt restrict his front legs. Overall, quality of ice packs and materials are well, but I'm going to have to adjust it alot to be comfortable. If the would have included 1 extender strap for the legs (2), the chest (1) and the back (1), it would be perfect. And the multiple straps that are shown in the video are not like the ones on the small wrap.
