Every year I make sure I have a pair on hand as it gets colder because we have to reach down in the water to clear pumps etc. I can use the L and XL even though I am not real big they allow my husband and me to share one pair. I LOVE sliding these on over my top allowing me to get into the skimmer without changing clothes!. And I keep them on if I am unplugging/plugging the pumps back in during rain and they work great. I do not find the hand area large and clumsy no matter which size I use.
