Perhaps it's just my car, but while very close and easily passing a casual glance it is subtly different but certainly good enough and for smaller more typical chips (where the advice I've read is to use a toothpick to trickle tiny amounts of touch up paint into rather than brushing it on).The problem came when I tried to apply the topcoat/lacquer. Its really quite thick and difficult to apply smoothly yet sparingly. Indeed in the end I resorted to sanding everything off, repriming and using a good quality third party spray paint and spray lacquer which results in a much smoother finish.In summary, the paint was pretty good (if not perfect), but I'd recommend avoiding using the topcoat for large chips where you'd be otherwise inclined to try to brush it on. Just get a good spray on topcoat instead which will leave a much smoother finish.
