The part that goes through the hole. Or are they all a standard size?** A: It can take either a 1 1/4 inch dia or use the spacer (which I use) if you run a ball with only a 1inch shank we use ours towing a tent trailer because our rear suspension was bottoming out makes towing so much better. Great product, good quality. **Q: What is the rise/drop with the included shank?** A: Not sure offhand, it was enough for my Jeep Cherokee. But now I tow with a Ram and had to get the longer trunnion. The original one was about an inch short on 4x4. My trailer ball cup is about 20” off the ground. **Q: Will this hitch work on a trailer with 350 to 450 tongue weight and 3k to 3.5k weight** A: When I bought this, I believe it’s rated fir up to 600lbs tongue weight. My trailer is 450lbs tongue weight. Trailer is almost 4,000lbs. Tows great.
