Bottom was all chipping off after single use. Returned it. Never had problems with French made clay cookware. This is italian. Disappointing, as it is beautiful and it may just be a fluke. I can tell the clay is too dry and flaky. Probably a bad batch. A trained eye should have caught the flaw in manufacturing though. I doubt it was bad clay. It looks like it was over cooked in the furnace. This makes for brittle flaky clay. No matter the reason, it is a QC issue.Just in case you still think it's possibly worth the money, keep in mind that it's a thin single glaze layer. Most high quality cookware do more and thicker glazing.
