I am an operating room Nurse. This is a great mask. A lot of people said the mask is too small... they aren't putting them on properly despite the instructions( this includes one of my family members who has a much smaller head/face, but she returned it before I had a chance to assess). I have a large head/face and a lot of hair and according to the ad this is a medium. ( I've not seen anywhere that you can select a different size. The mask fits me just fine. The material has just enough flexibility that it provides a great seal around your nose and mouth. There is great space between your lips and the mask. Jaw movent is somewhat restricted but if you dial down your facial movements the mask will stay in place while you talk. If you are not used to wearing a fitted mask i would suggest you wear it around the house to get comfortable with it. The bands take a little getting used to as you attach the 2nd side while holding the mask on your face. It is possible to fully assemble the bands and carefully/slowly stretch it over your head providing your hair lays flat. You could also replace the bands with whatever you think would work for you. Shoe laces, elastic laces, ribbons. Its very easy to breath as compared to N95 masks i have worn. The company is putting protection over profits by including a template so you can make your own replacement filters if you like. I added an extra layer of filter using one of the highest tier of air filters ( R13 or M13 or merv13 ... i don't remember but if its at least ___13, the filtration level is equal to a N95, it is much more expensive than the average quality filter). I got them for myself, my husband, parents and have recommended them to all of my family. ### ⭐ Nah Dude, Nah *by B***D on July 29, 2020* While I was looking at these before I ordered it I read the answer to a question about the mask by S M on June 18, 2020. This was over in the store showing the blue one. SM simply said and I quote : This is junk.Now I thought at the time that was overly critical, not giving the design a chance, maybe SM didn’t know how to fit the mask or ______ fill in the blank.Now that I have one and have used it for a few hours solid all I can say about SM’s answer is :Right On !Now I will elaborate :I have worked various jobs where I had to wear basic dust / particulate respirators all of an eight hour shift for years . For example fine art bronze foundry work in ceramic shell casting and sand blasting.I KNOW what a decent respirator should feel like. These were not expensive or sophisticated respirators; they were in a similar price range as this Miakomo Pro mask. There is NOTHING “Pro” about this Miakomo.Problems :The designer has never seen an actual well designed mask, nor worn one and I would go so far as to say the designer has never worn this mask they have designed for any length of time.The air flow is miniscule. It takes so much effort to get enough air through the filter to breath that the mask is very noticeably inflating and then collapsing to one’s face the whole time. This wouldn’t be so bad if that was all one had to put up with but the result is every once in a while you might sigh or breath a little extra and the mask gets so over whelmed a burst of air escapes around the nose area and blasts right in one’s eye. Over and Over and Over with in say a half hour period. I was wearing it at work but wasn’t doing anything the least bit strenuous; mechanicing and helping out with customers.Next I thought the comments in the reviews about pain at the bridge of the nose was surely an exaggeration but despite my many adjustments with the strap settings and folding the nose plate from the ends (not pinching it in the middle) the pain and discomfort kept building. About two hours was all I needed and I put on a regular all cloth 3M N95 mask to relieve the discomfort. Man what a difference ! ! ! Tons more air flow, so much more comfortable.The only positive thing I can say about this Miakomo Pro is I wore glasses the whole time and there was no fogging. When I went back to the all cloth 3M N95 I got very noticeable fogging off and on and had to adjust my glasses and the mask to compensate.Bottom line there is just WAY too little filter surface area in this mask to feed an adult with enough air ! ! ! I am not a large person and am very fit though am 60 years old. I pity the person who has heath problems and attempts to get enough air through this . . .
