I got a large (which is my panty size). As you can see in the photo it looks small. It fits very well. If you are trying to be comfortable and it just smooth out your tummy I would suggest getting your actual size. Now if you are like me and want it to actually suck you in a little..... go a size down. It looks very small but once you put it on it’s very stretchy. It’s more of a comfortable fit. It doesn’t ride up or roll. I will order a small just because I want a tighter fit in my midsection. I wear a size 16/XL comfortabley and got these as a size X/XXL. As you can see in the image, they measure about 10.5 inches across, which is most definitely NOT my waist size! However, they were so easy to put on. I was so surprised! They are also very comfortable and didn't feel like tooth floss cutting me, which was surprising. They held me down, too! I may try a size down on a 2nd pair just to see how those fit, but these really were good enough.
