In Wrapped and Strapped, Hugh fights his attraction to Harlow, he’s already been with a rich spoiled princess, and he’s not looking to repeat that horrible experience again. He may have misjudged Harlow tho, sure she comes from money but she’s dedicated her life to helping others. She’s not spoiled at all, but incredibly caring and kind. She comes to the Split Rick Ranch to visit her sister and recover from being held hostage overseas. She doesn’t need some brooding cowboy judging her and giving her attitude. But he is darn sexy evan if he is a stuffy, stick in the mud. Harlow can’t deny the sparks between herself and Hugh. When the pair find themselves in a working relationship and on an extended road trip they learn that opposites attract and that you can’t always judge a book by it’s cover. The pair have a fantastic adventure, and the supporting characters are hilarious. I love this series and these characters. Harlow and Hugh are not your typical couple and this book was different from her other books in this series since it went back and forth from their previous encounters to the present. I loved that and I loved their relationship. I also love the relationship between her sister and her, her and her Father, and her sister and her sister's husband, etc., all of these relationships, including old and new friends was believeable. All these characters could be your friends, neighbors, or family. That is one of the best things about any Lorelei James book, her honesty and believability.
