I bought the XL. The waist was fine, as pretty much anything with draw strings is pretty forgiving. However, the legs were quite snug on the front side. Every time I walked they seemed to pull a bit, gently rubbing up and down on the tops of my thighs with each step (and I carry my weight in the waist, not in the thighs) . When you combine that with the parachute-like material, it gets VERY noisy with each step. Simply put, they generally look like basketball shorts but they do not fit like them. A looser leg would have dramatically lessened the rubbing and related noise.On a positive note, the pockets are plenty deep and would easily hold a wallet or large cell phone when zipped. ### ⭐⭐⭐ I was very happy with these shorts until the zipper came off on ... *by J***R on Reviewed in the United States on November 4, 2017* I was very happy with these shorts until the zipper came off on one side on the left pocket.
