It now always reads “LO”. I initially thought it just needed the batteries replaced, but even after I put new Duracell batteries in it, it still doesn’t work. I've had two kiddos that felt extremely warm to the touch but they didn't temp higher than 98.2 & 98.4 with this. I popped a good old digital thermometer under their armpit and both were almost 101.
