Easy to assemble, comes with everything you need including cleaning brushes and some replacement filters. It runs basically silently, and my cat does drink from it, which is great because I wanted her to drink more water. My only little niggle, and it is very little, is the light. I have this in my bedroom, and the light is very bright and the whole thing glows blue, which makes it hard to sleep. I wish I could turn just the light off instead of the whole fountain.
