But I did want to say that I disagree with the other commenter. I moved a hutch around so I could refinish my hardwood floor. The little red blocks allowed the lever to be raised up to the desired height, max about 6 inches or so and then you can slip the wheel under the furniture. I was concerned it would bend the lever but it turned out ok which means others were trying to lift very heavy stuff. As others have said, this won't work well on carpet and there is a tendency for a wheel to go its own way if the item being moved or the floor isn't completely even. So for the money I was able to move items the size of a hutch or smaller and am satisfied with the product. **Q: Will it work on shag carpet?** A: It did not work at all. It was pure junk. I returned it. The attachment on the lifting bar is supposed to seat in a curved hollow in the square stacking blocks.
