Ask for help takes 2 people and AA Batteries
The manual is explicit about recommending 2 people to assemble so as to avoid injury. I’m using it for physical Therapy so I paid my kind neighbor “Bob The builder” to help me. His wrench was necessary even though the machine comes with all essential tools for assembly. The elliptical is AA Battery operated so make sure you Jane them. The body is already done one only needs to apply the appendages arms legs and such. I live in a Bachelor apartment above someone and it’s so far PERFECT 🤩 I have it on carpet so if you have hard would floors be sure to put the Elliptical over a rug and it’s great. The resistance adjustment doesn’t work and is manual not digital but I burned 80 Cal in 25 Min and I feel it in my thighs! Be sure to buy the AMAZON Elliptical 🤩 the others have failed so I went for this one and am so happy and thankful!🤓 Thank you Amazon 😘

Highly recommended for a well built space saving model
I have had my Marcy for over a year and have not had any issues with it.I use it every day, multiple times a day.I work from my home office and this Elliptical has such a small footprint that it fits in my office without being in the way.The dimensions after set up are: 38" L X 19.5 " W X 63" TIt is very sturdy and quiet.I am 5'4" at 127 Pounds and this machine does not wobble or make any noise. My husband is 6'3" 220 and can use it with no issues.I gave it 4 stars due to display panel. When you buy a machine at this price point you cant expect the display to compare to much more expensive equipment.I love that the display has a lip that holds my tablet very secure.A tablet will cover the display but that is not a deal breaker for me as I use other apps to track my activity. And I like to watch Netflix while working out. :) Win - WinIn my opinion the calorie burn count is quite a bit off on the Marcy. I think it registers more burn than you actually do when compared with other apps or machines.I did add a water bottle holder.I highly recommend this Marcy for people who need a space saving full body work out machine.I put it together myself in about 1.5 hours.Tip: There is a bolt on each side that attaches the stride leg to the crank. As crazy as this sounds, those bolts had to be on the correct side in order to tighten down.

Refund or replace...?
Received product on April 18th but just yesterday started to unpackaged. Upon doing so, noticed main frame is damaged.

Looks used, frame not assembled correctly, issues with the right crank in less than an hour of use.
On receipt of the item the shipping container was in poor condition. So poor, that the box ripped apart when I tried to open it, with the Styrofoam seriously damaged. May of the metal parts had what looked like wear and tear in spots that really couldn't be explained by the poor shape of the shipper, making me wonder if they had been used. This idea was further confounded by the fact it it looked like someone had scraped part of some of L and R stickers off. The plastic case for the frame is not sealed correctly on the back, and there is a gap where one side overlaps the other.I decided to assemble it anyways, as the shipper was a mess and I had the very strong feeling that as a result of that returning it would be a pain, so I went ahead and did so. Assembly wasn't that bad, other than taking it apart when 3/4 and putting it back together, because it shipped with an extra washer, so I wanted to make sure when I had 1 left and no place to use it that I had not forgotten to put one someplace. Still decent assembly, no real complaints.I've used it for less than an hour at this point, and it started squeaking a little, I initially thought from the main frame. I used it for a few minutes more to see if the squeak would work itself out, but it got worse. I got off the unit and decided to see if I could isolate where the squeak was coming from. It had sounded like it was from the right side behind me, so I grabbed the part where the crank connects to the right pedal support, and the area was hot to the touch.I'll be calling customer support about this issue. If they are willing to fix it, I will up my rating to 4 stars. Other then the issues with the blemishes, I had liked the unit before then, it had a good stride, is easy to move, and decent features for the price.**Update**Oiled the squeak, and it's gone but the area where the right crank meets the right support still gets very hot to the touch. I have to assume that there is an issue that has resulted from the frame being incorrectly assembled that is cause this pedal to be supporting significantly more resistance than the other pedal. Was unable to reach customer support, and just moved with the obvious fix on my own. Have moved my rating to 3 stars.

Read the reviews, but use common sense.
I read tons of reviews before buying this and I was so scared for the assembly after reading the reviews. If you have an ounce of common sense, this is incredibly easy to put together. The instructions are clear and the hardware is labeled.I will say that I spent the first 30 minutes labeling all the pieces and making sure everything was there. I lined the hardware up in the order I would need it.From start to finish including labeling the pieces, it took me 2 hours. I am not super handy at all and this was very easy to assemble!I went for a quick spin on it and I did notice it does have a noticeable wobble to it. You really have to engage your core with this machine. However, for the price, I’m very pleased!I will update once I’ve used it for a week or so.

Never fully worked
Never got the digital screen to work, no matter how many times I took it apart and put together. Also not particularly quiet or stable.
