I I noticed right away that the kids pulled up to full blast every time they turned on the faucet then turned it down. It lasted about 6 months before the spout came loose, i was able to retighten but within 2 months the entire assembly was loose from the sink, the attachment was bent so I replaced with a different design. Still look brand new. - I've had these for a year now and they'll still functioning perfectly. Look great, no leaks, no issues. No limescale build up and easy to clean. I bought 2 of these to replace some of those old Pfisters from the 80s that make bathrooms look like they are from outdated hotels. I had no issues installing both the sink and the drain. Infact, they simplified the plumbing underneath significantly. Before there were a bunch of adaptors for the old setup. Now it's all pretty simple and efficient and will be easy for the next person to replace when/if needed. The deck plate is pretty thin, so you can't screw down the faucet too tightly when using that or you'll get a little indentation in the plate. Oh well. This faucets requires a 1 1/2 inch hole but the standard faucet hole size for sinks is 1 3/8 (1/8 inch smaller). However many sinks and sink tops come in different hole sizes. Again the spec published at places like Lowes don't include those sizes in specs for the sinks. The hole in my sink top was large enough for the faucet to fit through it. I will add one comment about the faucet. It looks great and has worked great since I installed it, but recently it has become a little stiff in its opeation. I plan to remove the handle and see if a little silicone grease will solve the problem. All things considered I still believe it to be a good deal. **Q: Does anyone know if this would fit in a RV bathroom?** A: yes, fix it. **Q: Does the faucet have the brand name etched into the handle? I'm specifically interested in the matte black; It looks like it is incredibly noticeable.** A: Mine has S O K A etched into it, but it isn't super noticeable. Price was right and the supply lines were long and well made. I didn't install the pop up drain yet. Don't forget to remove the aerator when turning faucet back on.
