I enjoy Japanese lacquerware and this pen's design uses that design concept to good effect. It uses ink cartridges; I prefer using a piston refilling system but suspect I could change it over without too much trouble. The nib delivers a nice, smooth line for writing. It arrived well before the estimated delivery date and was very well packaged for shipment.
