I love to play outdoors, and this is a great SPF 50 lotion to use. It does not go on sticky. You can use this on your face but its a bit thick. I get acne pretty easily, so I like to use the supergoop facial SPF which is a bit lighter. I will say, if you sweat like I do, careful around your eyes, when I sweat on my forehead it went into my eyes, so I just don't use it above my eyes, and wear a hat.
