Once the correct height is set, you can tighten the brackets at that position. The brackets also allow the monitor to be tilted on the pole. I have my top monitor angled more downwards than the bottom monitor, so as to avoid any reflection from the ceiling light on the top monitor. **Q: Will this fit a samsung chg70 32 in monitor on bottom and a 24 in on top?** A: Yes. I do exactly that with this. Though they make a "32 inch" version, if you already have this one, it fits 32" monitors just fine. In fact the size and specs of this are identical to their 32" version EXCEPT the pole itself is 3 inches shorter which should make no difference.
