## Overview

The CyberPower PDU15SW10ATNET is a high-performance Switched ATS PDU designed for efficient power distribution to servers and network devices. With 10 outlets, dual power cords, and a pre-installed remote management card, it offers advanced features like real-time monitoring and remote rebooting, all housed in a durable 1U rackmount design.

## Description

The CyberPower PDU15SW10ATNET, a 10-outlet (rear), 1U rackmount switched automatic transfer switch (ATS) power distribution unit (PDU), provides 100-120V 15A output. It distributes unfiltered electrical pass-through to 10 NEMA 5-15R receptacles from redundant NEMA 5-15P plugs. Dual power cords can be plugged into separate power sources to provide redundancy to single-corded connected equipment. If power for the primary source exceeds the lower or upper thresholds, or if power fails, the PDU will switch to the secondary power source to ensure continuous operation. The PDU will switch back to the primary power source when incoming power becomes stable. The PDU15SW10ATNET includes a SNMP/HTTP card (RMCARD205). With the SNMP card and an IP address on the network interface, users have real-time monitoring and outlet control of the PDU. The switched outlet receptacles can be managed individually or collectively. The LCD panel provides local monitoring of the PDU and on/off control for the outlets. It can also be used to measure the electrical current (displayed in amperes) used by connected equipment. The LCD panel also shows input and output voltages, active power consumption levels (displayed in kilowatts), and hardware and firmware versions. Designed for datacenters and other demanding electrical applications, the PDU15SW10ATNET has rugged, industrial-grade metal housing, a 10-foot AC power cord, and a cord retention tray. It can be mounted horizontally and is UL and CSA certified by ETL, and Class A FCC-certified. A three-year warranty covers the PDU and connected equipment for as long as you own the product.

Review: well built and reliable; network documentation poor - If you need an AT PDU, these are good value for money. If you have a bunch of single-tailed equipment (one power cord) and you want to guard against failure of one of your power busses, an AT PDU will do the job. It's also useful for moving a rack from one power source to another without bringing down the equipment: you plug the power cords of the PDU into extension cords, and "leapfrog" from one socket to the next as you move your rack down the hall. The net-connected part of the PDU is full featured and they update the firmware so there's at least some chance it's ~secure. But the documentation is terrible and CyberPower's Java-based discovery and configuration tool is straight out of 2005. Avoid it. The unit will get an address via DHCP and you can sign into it using a web browser. Still needs an ftp client to do firmware upgrades (also straight out of 2005) and its ftp server doesn't support PASV mode so many ftp clients won't work with it (straight out of 1995). Overall recommended for build quality, reliability, and value for money.
Review: Good investment - Bought this to make sure I never have another server room power failure again. Very easy to setup and program. I would recommend this to any small business that can't afford to have a server rack power failure.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Neat device.
*by J***R on December 11, 2017*

I use this with my home lab. It's a bit of an overkill, but I got it for a fairly good reason. Channel A on this is supplied from a double-conversion UPS. It's pretty big. Channel B on this is supplied from a single-conversion UPS, not nearly as big, but has the same output rating. Power goes off; both UPSs are unhappy, UPS A drains as it has all the load. Signals for things to shut down. Ideally, that happens. Email alerts are sent at power loss and at UPS shutdown. I'm not home. I have a bit of time to get to a system and make sure my stuff goes offline OK. UPS A drians out, shuts off. This device flips power over to Channel B. UPS B, having not had a load, has only lost a bit keeping itself running and beeping. Most everything is offline, except switches, routers, Wifi, and anything else dumb enough to not get a shutdown-now notice. UPS B can keep this stuff running for a while on minimal load! Power comes back on. My systems should start back up automatically, but, sometimes they don't. Remote access as all my network is still online, let me bounce a few outlets from my other PDU's, and tada, things are booting back up. This is also helpful if you need to change out batteries in a UPS and even though it says you can do it online, but would rather not.
