What kind of angle did it have? Thanks in advance.** A: The blade was extremely sharp on arrival and well oiled. The angle is smaller than I anticipated and I had trouble sharpening it with a wet stone. At it’s wisest point, the top of the blade is almost a centimeter wide, thus the sharper angle. Because of the thickness and length of the blade it is much heavier than I anticipated as well. Perfectly weighted, and balanced, but heavy. It wasn’t until I became a bit stronger that I was really able to handle this knife. Although not relevant to your questions, out of the many blades that I have purchased this is my favorite. You won’t regret buying this for use, or display. Enjoy a finely crafted and gorgeous blade. Peace.
