My only complaint was that programming it was kind of a ball ache. It was a lot of button pushing and trying to remember what the two -letter or digit abbreviation meant, hoping you set it right, and trying not to get too impatient and going past the option you wanted and having to scroll back through everything again to get where you wanted to. Of course, once you got the settings where you need them, it was awesome and handled the humidifier for my walk-in cigar humidor very well. This new model is just as capable, plus it adds all of the convenience of wifi connectivity which does two things for you. First, it makes programming it and adjusting the settings so much easier. You just download the app, connect it, and go. It lets you see all of the settings at once, directly edit whatever you want, save and go. It also means you can monitor the humidity and see the history of the readings from anywhere. In addition to the original unit, I used to also use a Govee humidity and temperature unit so I could remotely monitor my humidor. With this, it at least handles monitoring humidity, so the Govee isn't as necessary as it was. It’s accurate. We’re going to use it inside our chicken shed for the winter so we can monitor the humidity.
