Review: Five Stars - Fit my Leofoto LN404c Tripod perfectly does what it is made to do
Review: It does work, But.... - There is no question but this adapter will and does work. However, because it was designed to work in a variety of Gitzo tripods, this adapter has "steps" which allow the adapter to either sit up on the tripod base or set down in the tripod base. In my case it sits up though it still allows for full clamping in the base and even with the safety latch engaged. I just do not like the fact that it must sit up a step to work in a Gitzo series 3.

There is no question but this adapter will and does work. However, because it was designed to work in a variety of Gitzo tripods, this adapter has "steps" which allow the adapter to either sit up on the tripod base or set down in the tripod base. In my case it sits up though it still allows for full clamping in the base and even with the safety latch engaged. I just do not like the fact that it must sit up a step to work in a Gitzo series 3.

### ⭐⭐ Does not really fit correctly in a new 3 or 4 series Gitzo Systematic

The bowl does not completely drop into the collar of the newer three or four series Gitzo systematic tripods. It only drops about half the distance and sits rather high on the tripod spider. More importantly in only covers about half of the collar depth so you will potentially be stressing the collar and spider when tightening it down. The sad thing is the actual vender stated this bowl would work correctly when asked after returning and other brand from the same vendor that did not work correctly.
