That's not the package I purchased. **Q: How much permethrin is in the solution? .5%?** A: The solution is 1/2%. The mix is the center range for that chemical and is based of the application onto fabric. **Q: Should I spray it on panties and bra?** A: I would only spray it on clothing exposed to the outside - socks included. You do not need to use it on clothing that is covered by outwear. **Q: I've seen where this has been sprayed on long sleeved shirts & pants! Will it work on summer shorts & shirt sleeved shirts?** A: The use of permethrin is primarily for both mosquitoes and ticks. So when we are talking about ticks I do not think it will offer very much protection because a tick needs to crawl across treated fabric in order to receive a lethal dose. With shorts on they will probably never get to cross that fabric and instead get under the cuff. You could use a good 30% deet or 20% picaridin on skin and clothing to help protect against ticks, also for mosquitoes. Mosquitoes are generally repelled by the chemical and you should also use a skin applied repellent at the same time. So there's benefit for mosquitoes but not for the ticks. Your protection from insects with or without a chemical treatment is your clothing and that means to cover most of your body and deny access to your skin by wearing the garments defensibly. It will last for several washings. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Performance is outstanding highly recommend, use product in a well ventilated area *by R***D on 29 March 2026* I have nothing but positive things to say about this product. I recently took a trip to a third world country, where mosquitoes and insects were a concern. Prior to the vacation I bought a bug net, and sprayed this product all over the the net along with my clothing that I was going to be wearing on the trip. I did let everything breathe outside when I sprayed it and when I let the product sit although it didn't need to sit that long before it was dry and safe. The product performs unbelievably well, mosquitoes were just not an issue when I was wearing the clothes that were sprayed and when I was sleeping in the mosquito net. Very high performing product, which I would recommend for anyone who has a mosquito issue. My only concern about the product is that if you have small animals, or children or even our concerned about your own health, I would wear masks when spraying this, I would also Spray It Outdoors or in a well ventilated area as I don't think it's probably the healthiest thing in the world for you to breathe. In fact the person who suggested I spray this on my clothing and mosquito net was someone who represented the CBC and they said Don't Spray it around your pets. That was enough for me to wear a mask and spray it in my garage with the garage door open leaving it well ventilated to get that excess out of the garage and also keep me safe even though I had a mask on.
