The lacy elastic top is very wide. It’s twice as wide as my older ones and because it’s so wide, they want to slip down. I didn’t get them too large, and the top feels quite tight on my thigh, even though it wants to slip. I am 5’4” 125pounds and I got size recommended. This is a lot of money for stockings that don’t fit as well as the older style for less.
