Easy to install with a pilot hole for the retaining screws. Used some sealant/adhesive to secure as well (belt and braces), as the opening mechanism is nice and firm and will prevent the plaster around it cracking over time. The fuse board is within the cavity block, and there was an enormous breeze coming through the hatch. There was an unsightly hatch over the fuse board.We made a larger aperture in the plaserboard, inserted this inspection door and plastered over the edges, and painted the green surface to match the walls. The new opening is hardly visible, and the flap opens and shuts readily, with hand pressure.
