We have done many of them together and both of us enjoyed the quality time together a lot. These are always simple to do for the most part, but things I wouldn't have thought to do on my own since I am very "uncrafty" and a very busy full time working single mom.There are also usually articles on vacations and trips that are geared towards family and kids, which I really apprecate and find interesting. I've been saving those vacation ideas and will probably look to do one, referencing the ideas in the article, at some point in the near future.Good magazine and an excellent value at the great price offered by Amazon. The only thing is that with my first order thorugh Amazon, I did get two issues at the same time, one for the month past and one for the current month. I would have preferred to start my 12 months with the current month, not the previous months issue. ### ⭐⭐ Worst purchase ever made on Amazon *by A***N on Reviewed in the United States on August 14, 2012* I bought this magazine in hopes of getting some tips to stay fit, eat healthier and just live a healthier lifestyle in general. I wasn't really expecting much to be quite honest. First magazine I got, I didn't fall in love with. I gave it a second chance. Got the next issue in the mail- now I feel really sick. What a useless magazing. I bought this for myself and I got Men's Journal for my father. Both magazines covered a bit of the olympics-especially the swimmers and man its like night and day. The writing and quality of Men's Fitness (this magazine) is simply awful. It's not written to stimulate thought, apply to higher education, or even educate. This magazine is all about flashiness and hit headlines such as "Train like an Olympian" or "Lose your Gut" followed by a worthless paragraph or page magically telling you how to accomplish what the headline states. I mean, the quality of writing in this magazine is really lacking. Perhaps it was better years ago, but as of now, It's adjusted more towards the body builders I assume. EVERY OTHER PAGE has an ad for an enhancement or supplement. I remember in the issue I received in July? there was a page dedicated to Human Growth Hormones! This is not healthy!!! All these ads for supplements, performance enhancers, and photoshopped "fit" models in this magazine really disgust me.The magazine I got for my 55 year old father has more information on just about everything and is *truly* a magazine for men young and older. This was my worst purchase ever on amazon. Articles are not in depth nor introduce new concepts. Ads with performance enhancers/supplements on every other page. And really poorly written articles. Will never purchase again! I will be purchasing a seperate issue of "Men's Journal" for myself so I no longer have to borrow the latest issue from my father. Meanwhile this magazine, "Men's Fitness" will continue to go from the mailbox directly into the trash until it expires. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great Family Magazine *by C***E on Reviewed in the United States on December 26, 2014* This magazine has great and plentiful ideas for family fun. Many of them are simple and quick but very imaginative and others involve a little thought and preparation. I don't usually like it when magazines have product reviews or articles that push products to purchase, but the products are usually good quality and its clear the editors have vetted them to make sure they are not promoting junk and fluff. The photos of activities and crafts are enticing and gives parents a spring board to other ideas. For Halloween there was an article about homemade costumes. I was leafing through it when my three year old granddaughter saw a fox costume and got real excited about it. Her favorite dance video is Ylvis' WHAT DOES THE FOX SAY? So I made the costume using an orange hoodie ad fake fur. She wears it everyday. So for Christmas I made fox pajamas for her baby doll from Santa. She loves her mama and baby outfits.
