But nonetheless we both loved it, I’m not a seafood person, so I had grilled Turkey sausage, corn on the cob, steamed broccoli, baby red and gold potatoes, and two hard boiled eggs even though I loathe eggs I wanted to try. I believe that I spent over $300 for a 10lb box of crabs, 6 lobster tails, size 13-15 shrimp, mussels, potatoes, eggs, kielbasa sausage and cucumbers....I’m sure I’m missing something there. I wanted this boil to be as close as a bloveslife video as I possibly could lol. I made sure to prepare the butter first to give it some time before eating with seafood. I added just about everything that was recommended on the bag, so I added the pickled ginger, half a can of coke, and chicken broth. The sauce was a tad bit too thick when it was done, but it could’ve been my fault due to it simmering for a bit..so I added an additional of 2 sticks of unsalted sweet cream butter to the 6 sticks that was already in there. The sauce initially is delicious, but when I came in for a second helping the next day, the flavors intertwined with one another soooo well and I’m definitely looking forward for future uses of this butter with better flavor development. This fed 3 “not skinny” people VERY well, and I still have left over butter that is not currently in the freezer. I want to try making it myself because I still hear that the original version is better though...it’s just hard to believe HOW much better it can be compared to this packet! And y’all. The lemon is the truth.
