Β I purchased mine in 2015 and it is now broken; the spring element has stopped functioning. There is a black particulate now leaking down onto the food as the device presses down and it is no longer usable. Given that I use it only 4-5 times a year, not durable in my estimation. Additionally, the potatoes or food being mashed get caught between the two pieces of metal and must constantly be cleaned out.
