I placed one dehumidifier in each of my guitar cases. The humidity in both has dropped from ~64% to ~55% within three days (according to two different, un-calibrated digital hygrometers). The dehumidifiers are a good size for this application. They fit the headstock compartments of my cases perfectly. Double-sided tape seems to keep them in place, though something more robust might be needed if I traveled more. They add no noticeable weight to the cases. I have not tried re-charging them yet. I keep one in enclosed container with prescription pills, and another in my beard trimmers case. The one in the beard case I had to "rejuvenate" per the instruction on the front. The only downside is that It is hard to see the changed color that indicates that they need to be heated in a 300º oven for 3 hours.
