Review: We have a fiberglass shower enclosure with a hot and a cold valve that were irreparable. We had to go with a mixer valve. After much research I decided this cover plate situation seemed the most promising of all the options on the market. The plumber, originally reluctant, ended up being impressed with the product. It covered the old holes nicely, but allowed him to make a larger hole where he could work easily. The finished product looked professional and didn’t particularly look like we were hiding a conversion to a mixer valve. Mission accomplished! Two notes: the shower head is cheap and probably not worth installing. Also, the required valve is not included. At the time of my purchase, desertcart did not have the necessary Moen valve available, and my plumber would not install the desertcart recommended generic equivalent.
